IELTS introduction

IELTS stands for “International English Language Testing System” which measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work in foreign countries where English is used as the native language. Marks are offered out of 9.0 based on your language proficiency for 4 skills ; Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing.

What is IELTS Academic AND General?

Academic - For all types of study purposes (Student Visas) General – For migrations OR employments Speaking & Listening modules are same for both Academic and General but Reading & Writing modules are totally different

Exam Structure

Speaking : 12 – 15 minutes (individual) Listening : 30 minutes (40 questions) Reading : 1 hour (40 questions) Writing : 1 hour (2 tasks / 400 words)

When do I get the results?

Paper-based IELTS (Including IELTS for UKVI)

Preview of test results starts at 12:00AM GMT on the 13th day after the test.

Computer-delivered IELTS (Including IELTS for UKVI)

Results are available for preview within 5-7 days after your test date.

IELTS Life Skills

Preview of test results starts at 12:00AM GMT on the 7th day after the test.

Official results by mail

Your official Test Report (TRF) will be sent to your postal address. Paper-based IELTS: TRF will be posted 13 calendar days after your test date. Computer-delivered IELTS test: TRF will be posted 5-7 days after your test date.

1st Step : Placement Test

Call or SMS to 0775408800 & reserve time for the Placement Test (Test :1 hour) & it’s totally free of charge. If you are in Sri Lanka you can visit & do the test. If you are not in Sri Lanka, you can request the test online free of charge. At the Placement Test, your knowledge is evaluated for 4 skills. (Speaking + Listening + Reading + Writing) If it’s proved that you are able to capture lessons in English medium, we advise you to enroll our IELTS intensive workshops directly. Everything depends on your required band score and the present English language level you have. If you feel that you need to learn more English (It can be proved at the Placement Test only) before starting IELTS, you can do our Pre IELTS course and then you can start IELTS course.

 

2nd Step : Registration

After the Placement Test, registrations are accepted. At the time of registration, you can negotiate your preferred class times. The classes are from 8.30am to 9.30pm all 7 days (except Poya days) You can choose your times as you wish.

 

Regular Class Times :

Weekdays :

8.30am / 10.30am / 12.30pm /3.00pm / 6.00pm / 7.30pm

 

Weekends :

8.30am – 11.30am 11.30am – 2.30pm 2.30pm – 5.30pm 5.30pm – 8.30pm

 


 

 

 

  

3rd Step : Lessons & Mock Exams

The full course consists 8 Lessons + 2 Complete Mock Exams + 4 Full Day Seminars You will have 2 complete Mock Exams before applying the official IELTS Exam. We can guarantee your results though mock exams. If you wish, you can repeat the sessions FREE OF CHARGE any number of times even after completing the course.
